About

Fcancer is a simple social platform where people can pledge their skills – by the hour – to cancer charities.

About us

A group of us, all good friends, have a parent affected by cancer. Together we decided to take action. Our weapons of choice: youth, energy and creativity. Fcancer is a collaborative movement for the young to join in the fight against cancer. Our mission is to build an online community and people who are ready and able to donate their time and specific skills to cancer initiatives. We may not have money, but we have energy and abilities: we can design, sing, build, count, draw, travel and tweet and many other tools to bring to the Fight.

Funding

The Fcancer team personally donated £150,000 to kick-start the project. For our annual funding requirements, in keeping with our vision we will use the skills, time and resources of our community members to organise an annual fundraising event: The Fantasy Ball. Every year, amounts we raise in excess of our budget will be donated to the most innovative cancer initiative or charity on our platform.
