What needs to get done
We’re looking for enthusiastic people to help organise our EPIC TriLife events, where over 80 people aim to complete one of 3 crazy challenges.
Why we need you:
We’re looking for enthusiastic people to help organise our EPIC TriLife events, where over 80 people aim to complete one of 3 crazy challenges - the London three peaks challenge, a cycle race from London to Scotland’s T in the Park festival and the London Triathlon. Your skills as an event organiser will be invaluable to ensuring our 80-100 strong fundraising team are where they need to be to bring home those vital pounds. Without your support, there simply will be no events.
What skills do I need?
We’re looking for highly motivated people, ready for the challenge! You’ll have proven experience of events organisation, be computer literate and able to work both independently and as part of a dedicated team. We’re also looking for someone that is ok being filmed, so that we can turn our events into amazing movies, like this one and help spread the word about Cancer Research UK!
What will I be doing?
• Helping shape the overall plan to get 80-100 people up all three peaks in 24 hours, and up to Scotland by cycle.
• Organising van hire, information for fundraisers and medical briefs
• Working with a team of events volunteers, centralised by Tri-Life founding members
• Managing the budget to ensure a successful fundraising mission.

We’ll give you a full induction into Cancer Research UK and TriLife, as well as the ongoing support of the organising team.

Where will I be based?
The role will be primarily home-based, with regular meetings with the organising team
Time Commitment
Ongoing until 15th July 2014 (1-2 days a week or less depending on tasks –completely flexible regarding time).
