Help Promote our Carol Concert
What needs to get done
Background
Our Carols by Candlelight event has been running for 10 years. It is one of our longest standing annual events. This wonderful event gives us and our supporters an opportunity to kick off the festive season with celebrity readers, special performances from three superb choirs and a generous helping of mulled wine and minced pies. It’s an event for remembrance and celebration. Guests have a chance to write their tribute on the back of the bauble and hang it on the Christmas tree.
Last year we had over 550 people and the previous year we had 600 attendees. This year we want even more. We find that distributing flyers in the local area helps us promote the event to the public who may not know this event is taking place.
How you can help
We need two volunteers over a 2 day period to assist us in a flyer drop around the Knightsbridge area.
We’re looking to flyer the local area which will include cafes, shops, community centres and any other public/community area. You will be invited into the office to be briefed about the concert and given the materials to help you flyer.
Previous experience is not necessary however being friendly, comfortable speaking to the public and engaging in conversation is a must.
