Photography of Maggie's Edinburgh – people & architecture.

What needs to get done

Maggie’s Centres provide free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their family and friends.

Built in the grounds of NHS hospitals, our Centres are designed by world-renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid and Richard Rogers, who give their time for little or nothing, to deliver the calm and uplifting environments so important to the people who visit and work in our Centres.

Maggie’s has 16 Centres across the UK. The beautiful photography we have for some of our Centres is being used effectively across our website, cancer support materials and marketing collateral to promote each Centre. The objective of this project is to fill the gaps in photography for five or six Centres where our existing photography isn’t working effectively for the channels mentioned above.

Maggie’s Edinburgh is located in the grounds of Western General Hospital. The photography needs to be observed, warm and respectful of both those inside the Centre and the architecture itself. We have examples where photography is working at other Centres, which will help guide the type of images we’re looking for.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their portfolio, getting under the skin of Maggie’s unique support for people living with cancer in warm and uplifting environments.

Maggie’s is happy to discuss supporting with travel costs.
