USA Photographer Needed: National Race to End Women's Cancer: Sunday, November 8, 2015
What needs to get done
We seek a professional photographer to take photos of our 5K/1 mile walk in the heart of DC from 7:30 am - 10:30 am. Photos will include team shots, survivors and their loved ones, the start, middle and finish of the 5K, walkers, families, our Capitol Concourse marketplace with vendor booths on Pennsylvania Avenue, survivors tent, speeches, and all elements of this super fun, inspirational day.
How your contribution will help
Your contribution will save crucial dollars from our very limited budget that we can instead include in our fundraising total -- which goes to support the Foundation for Women's Cancer's research grants to promising investigators seeking much-needed new diagnostic tools and treatments to end women's cancer. It will also help us continue raising awareness so more women learn about the symptoms and risks, prevention and treatment -- and truly help us save more lives.
What you will get out of it
You will experience the incredible high of capturing 3,000 survivors and their loved ones, surgeons, nurses, runners, supporters and friends united in our nation's capitol to shine a bright light on these less well-known and less talked about reproductive cancers: cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar, that will strike American 98,000 women this year. Nearly a third will die. We want women to love their lady parts, join the movement and help us end women's cancer!
