Sing with Us Development Assistant - Across South West England and the Midlands
What needs to get done
Singing is incredibly important to us at Tenovus Cancer Care. Our Sing with Us choirs are
fun, uplifting and friendly, and are open to anyone affected by cancer. We currently have 19
amazing Sing with Us choirs and with your help we hope to expand this service in England.
We’re looking for engaging and inspiring volunteers to carry out market research and
networking with the aim of providing information about your local area. You’ll be our eyes
and ears in the community,
How your contribution will help
Your main tasks will involve, but may not be limited to:
Researching and identifying individuals and groups in your local area including NHS
contacts, health organisations, charities, community groups and educational centres
Creating a database of contacts
Engaging with these contacts, meeting with them to promote our Sing with Us choirs
Gathering feedback from questionnaires, focus groups and meetings you’ll attend
Maintaining regular contact with the Community Development Officer.
