We are applying for a Google AD Grant - hopefully we succeed! Regardless we need skilled help to prepare us for a successful launch and widespread distribution/uptake of new breast cancer prevention materials. We have created a Community Reception & Fundraiser Event on April 20, 2017 to debut this content and we want to push it out vigorously the very next day...
How your contribution will help
We produce targeted & integrated health literacy resources focusing on breast cancer prevention. We are completing a new campaign about early puberty (it is itself a lifelong risk for breast cancer) that is 100% digital. Our target audience is anyone who can influence the lifestyles of girls at risk of entering puberty too early. We need to get this content out widely and ensure great SEO. The volunteer will be key because we don't have in-house expertise on using Google for marketing.
What you will get out of it
The volunteer will get the satisfaction of helping with a specific campaign and even more importantly teach us how to manage future campaigns thereby increasing our capacity to make an impact in the field of health education which is closely tied to making impact on the issue of health equity
