Our mission
We’re a non-profit organization on
a mission to build an online community,
ready to donate their time and skills to
cancer-related initiatives.
Why we do it
We created Fcancer because most of the founding team had a parent affected by cancer in the same year. From our own experience we realised that young people who did not have disposable income did not have many available or fun options to support the cause.
So we thought why not harness what people do have — energy, skills and talent — to create a new way of getting involved that was easy, fun and tech enabled.
Therefore, we built a technology platform that encourages volunteers to convert their skills into a new form of charitable currency which can then be donated to cancer charities all around the world!

Our volunteers
have grown close
to 600 strong in
just 12 months!
That’s about the same number of skeletal
muscles in the human body. Oomph!

They span over
5 continents and more
than 32 countries.

We’re armed with
52 different volunteer
skills ranging from
photography and design,
PR and communications
to IT development.
…putting any Swiss army knife
to shame.

Our volunteers
generously offered
over 12,000 hours
of their skill.
That’s the equivalent of a single person working
full-time for approximately 7 years.

Best of all,
this equals to charities
saving $720,000 in costs
on research, treatment,
and prevention of cancer.
We think that’s pretty impressive…
