Sal Lahoud – Chairman and Trustee

Sal is a creative director and entrepreneur (Pave, FCancer). He studied Information Engineering at the Imperial College in London, Theatre at the Esper Studio in New York and Visual Design at the School of Visual Arts.

Oren Bass – COO and Trustee

Oren is managing Fcancer’s financial, operational and legal affairs. He also serves as interim Charity liaison. Trained as a lawyer at Clifford Chance, he worked at Goldman Sachs before setting up a multi-discipline family office. He is now a co-founder and COO of Pave.com.

Noor Fares – Brand Ambassador and Trustee

Noor is the creator of jewelry brand Noor Fares, founded in 2009. She is currently pursuing a Masters in design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.

Julia is responsible for day to day operations as well as focusing on on-boarding of charities and volunteers. She founded an international charity, Our Sansar, worked on operational level with various UK charities, and worked as a corporate consultant in Japan.

Tiziana is responsible for all visual communications off- and online. She worked across a broad range of industries for over 10 years. Prior to joining Fcancer, Tiziana was a Design Director at Wolff Olins. Her work has received numerous national and international awards.

Edgar M. Salazar – Technical Lead

Edgar writes the code powering Fcancer. He studied at the MIT and Manchester with degrees in Computer Science and International Development. He also manages the accelerator Artemit and co-founded the social enterprise Bridge for Billions.

David is responsible for our growth strategy. He runs Earlybird, a small collective of freelancers that help early-stage companies scale. Previously ran Consumer Product and Marketing at Yoyo Wallet, and ran a social enterprise in Cusco, Peru in support of Elim Orphanage.

With the desire to raise awareness about this plague that kills 150,000 people each year in France, David Khayat launched the initiative of the World Summit against cancer in 2000 and the Paris Charter against cancer, supported by the President of the Republic at the time, Jacques Chirac, and Unesco. A Charter that was at the origin of the French cancer plan which led to the creation of Inca, the National Cancer Institute, of which he has been president.

Dr Maurice Slevin MD FRCP
Honorary Consultant Medical Oncologist Barts and The London NHS Trust Dr Maurice Slevin graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and subsequently worked for four years at the world-famous Groote Schuur Hospital before coming to the UK, practicing for almost 30 years in the Department of Medical Oncology at London’s St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
One of the four founder partners of The London Oncology Clinic, Dr Slevin played a leading role in developing the systems and software at LOC which underpin the state-of-the-art treatments offered by the clinic.
