Relay For Life of Manhattan
About us
Relay For Life is a 12-hour, overnight walking event. Participants form teams and walk around one, unified track together to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against all types of cancer. The track is lined with Luminaria, which are candle-lit bags with the names of those who have been affected by the disease - the Luminaria remind us who we are fighting for, and we have a beautiful ceremony during the night to honor them. Participants do not have to walk the entire night - each team has a campsite set up around the track where you can meet others and enjoy the event. There are ongoing performances, activities, and raffles throughout the night, as well as a silent auction with great prizes.
