About us
The Foundation for Advancement in Cancer Therapy (FACT) founded in 1971, is a US federally approved 501(c)(3) organization.
For over 40 years, thanks to the efforts of many volunteers and the financial contributions of the public, Foundation for Advancement in Cancer Therapy (FACT) has been providing carefully verified information, resources and support to patients seeking nontoxic, biologically sound treatments for cancer and other chronic conditions. A large part of our work is also focused on those wishing to learn about disease prevention and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with the emphasis on good nutrition; detoxification; organ, gland and skeletal integrity; stress management, etc.
FACT is the creator of both the book and film Rethinking Cancer. Our years of experience, including feedback from thousands of patients internationally, have taught us that, just because something flies under the “Alternative” banner, it is not necessarily effective or harmless. As a non-profit (501(c)(3) educational organization, we have no vested interest in the information we provide. Our goal is to help people become wise medical consumers in today's overload of information — and misinformation. We believe people have the right to understand all their viable medical options.
