The Rapunzel Project
About us
The Rapunzel Project's mission is to create awareness of the existence and efficacy of cold cap therapy, a process by which chemo patients do not have to lose their hair.
To do this we primarily share information with patients, medical personnel, and the media. We also work with hair salons, as stylists are great intermediaries in reaching patients at a critical (pre-treatment) time. Additionally we donate biomedical freezers to supportive chemo centers. The freezers help boost awareness of cold cap therapy, while making the process easier and less costly for the patients of those clinics.
