Women's Cancer Resource Center
About us
The Women's Cancer Resource Center is dedicated to reducing racial and ethnic disparities in access to and effectiveness of cancer treatment, including psycho-social outcomes, through community outreach and culturally specific cancer education, support, and healthcare navigation services. We serve clients from all backgrounds, economic capacities, and ethnicities, focusing our 100% free services on the full continuum of care, from prevention and diagnosis through treatment to hospice or survivorship. However, we especially target outreach and services, including emergency financial support, to low-income individuals, as well as Latina and African American women, in Alameda and Contra Costa (California) counties, including individuals who are undocumented, do not have health insurance, or are under-insured.
