Great North Run Photographer Wanted!
What needs to get done
We are looking to find a photographer who would be willing to volunteer their time to help out Teenage Cancer Trust at the Great North Run on Sunday 15th September 2013. We have around 100 runners in the Teenage Cancer Trust team and a team of volunteers to come and cheer them on also. We are hoping to find someone to come along on the day and take some action shots of our runners and cheerers. When they have finished the race we are inviting our runners to a post-race Cool Down party at the Charity Village Marquee by the finish line in South Shields (Tyne and Wear) where you would also be very welcome to join us and take a few more photos of the runners with their medals.
It would be a great opportunity for newly qualified photographers to practice their skills, or to add to a growing portfolio, whilst also contributing to our goal of helping young people fight cancer. The Great North Run is a fun day out for all, with the (hopefully!) shining sun and the inspirational runners it’s guaranteed to be a day you’ll enjoy.
