More detailed information:
The London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet – runners have raised over £600 million for good causes since the race began in 1981.
This year Prostate Cancer UK will have a team of over 300 runners taking part and raising funds for the charity.
Come along and join our staff at our cheer point - this is a fantastic way to experience the excitement of race day and support the people taking part! We need enthusiastic people to spot our runners, encourage and cheer them along the course and hand out sweets to give them a boost as they complete the run.
The atmosphere on the day is brilliant and you can be part of it by volunteering to support our runners! You can either volunteer alone or with friends – there will be lots of other volunteers and staff there on the day to ensure you have a great time.
