Capture our Children’s Cancer Champions awards on camera

What needs to get done

We need an ace photographer to take photos of five children receiving their 'CHECT Champion' awards for bravery and courage shown during their treatment for eye cancer. The presentation will take place on Saturday May 9 at the Beamish Museum as part of our regional event bringing together families affected by retinoblastoma. We will need individual shots of each Champion as well as a group shop of them altogether.

How your contribution will help

The photos will be used to send to local media to tell them the story of each child, subsequently raising vital awareness of this devastating and life-threatening condition. The level of coverage generally hinges on the quality of photos sent out with our press releases so your role is vital.

What you will get out of it

Your involvement will help provide a lasting memory for each of our wonderful champion children attending on the day. You will also have played a direct role in raising vital awareness of this condition which could lead to earlier detection of this childhood cancer in the future.
