Volunteer Creative Artworker

What needs to get done

We need a volunteer as soon as possible to provide publishing expertise to the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) and its Consumer Forum members. The NCRI have an ‘Adding Value and Impact Toolkit’ which provides support for patients and lay people who are involved in the development of cancer research. Your key task is to convert the existing Word version of the ‘Adding Value and Impact’ document into a more creative/well designed document for publication using MS PowerPoint.

How your contribution will help

Your help in reproducing their toolkit will make a vital contribution to the positive impact that patients and those affected by cancer are having on the future of cancer research.

What you will get out of it

• An opportunity to make a vital contribution to supporting documentation that will be used by NCRI consumers and more widely

• Valuable experience of working with NCRI consumers (patient/carer representatives), in relation to Patient and Public Involvement in cancer research

• Valuable experience of working within the charity sector

• The satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference to the work of Cancer Research UK and its partners

• Travel and other expenses as agreed
