What needs to get done
Our goals are 3 fold.
We need to be able to financially offer scholarships for those patients and family members who wish to attend programming. We currently do this through discount and private donors.
We would like to create an educational component for primary education, using the ideas behind the Simonton work to teach better ways of living together.
And the creation of materials for pediatric cancer patients.
How your contribution will help
We are a small non profit that has financed the organization through our own work and private donors. Due to changes with our organization and the desire to expand our work, we need additional and more substantial funding. This is often considered the 'missing link' in cancer care and we are unable to assist more patients. Education, teaching tools and techniques to improve our lives is a critical key to our health.
What you will get out of it
Besides the satisfaction of working with a committed charity with a stellar reputation, you will become a 'team member' and be included as little or as much as you desire. Your name will be listed as 'on staff' and mention of you will be made on our posts. Recommendations and referrals will be given on request.
