Stronger than Cancer Young Hero 5k
What needs to get done
Stronger than Cancer Young Hero 5k is a family friendly run/walk on a certified 5k course. The course is lined with superheros. The finish line for the run/walk is home base inside Roger Dean Stadium. There is also a 100 yard dash and a 10 yard diaper dash. After the 5k, kids of all ages will enjoy the activities in the Kidz Zone.
Volunteers are needed for all aspect of run: course setup/beak down, water stops, registration, help in Kidz Zone, cheering on runners, etc.
How your contribution will help
All money raised from this event will be used to provide services to local children with cancer and their families. The services which we provide include counseling for the child and for the family, emotional support, financial support, school outreach, tutoring for home bound children, etc. All services are provided to the families free of charge.

Beside the emotional satisfaction of helping children with cancer, we will feature the volunteer on our Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter page.
