Dickensian Sponsored Walk
What needs to get done
We are looking for 14 stewards for this event, the walk is a 3 mile in length and there needs to be stewarding en route. The walk is taking place in London, starting at the Charles Dickens museum 48 Doughty Street and finishing at the George Inn, Southwark. The stewards will help guide the way for the walkers.
How your contribution will help
The volunteers will ensure that people are sticking to the route and will also be in communication with the team leader and be able to inform them of any health and safety risks or accidents en route.
What you will get out of it
The volunteers will get a free pass to the Charles Dickens museum for the day that they can use during a two hour break that they will get in the middle of the day. They will also be invited to our Volunteers lunch which takes place at our Centre in June.
