United In Purple 5k
What needs to get done
We are excited to have our first United In Purple 5k in Monroe, WA! We will need volunteers to help set up the event, hand out race packets and shirts. During the race, we will need volunteers to help hand out water and encourage runners/walkers. After the race, we will need volunteers to help take down and clean up from the race.
In addition, we need volunteers to help promote the event in order to increase participation and locate sponsors.
How your contribution will help
Awareness is one of the most important aspects of surviving pancreatic cancer. As a volunteer, you are supporting the fight to spread awareness, as well as supporting those who have been impacted by pancreatic cancer. Funds raised from the event help support our financial assistance program.
What you will get out of it
Volunteers will receive a certificate of appreciation.
