About me

In 1999 I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer (lung metastases following misdiagnosed cervical cancer) which I overcame with a combination of complementary and conventional medicine. I feel the complementary side is seriously overlooked and would like to devote more time to educating, raising money and awareness and supporting patients who want to travel down the complementary path. I am a qualified physiotherapist and have also run my own business Bathrobics, manufacturing my own brand of parabens free toiletries and supplying John Lewis, Debenhams, House of Fraser to name a few. This meant I wore many hats, from formulation chemist, designer, manufacturer to sales, marketing and PR. I achieved great success and won Gift of the Year in 2003. Then a little appearance on the first ever series of Dragons Den. Hopefully that tells you enough about me! Not afraid of embracing challenges. Picture above is of me with my eldest son.
