Amy Stroud

About me

I am a PR professional, currently working in London on a number of B2B and consumer clients. On a day to day basis I write press release, manage social media accounts and look for suitable opportunities for coverage in trade, consumer, national and online publications. I have previously worked as an intern for Breast Cancer Care in Wales, working on a number of their campaigns including the Strawberry Tea campaigns and Pink Fridays. I also helped plan the bi-annual Welsh events committee Strawberry Tea at the Park Plaza as well as sitting on the planning committee for The Show (a charity fashion show).

I have always had a passion for PR, starting with internships in my first year of university which eventually led to enrolling on an MA course in International public relations and global communications management. Interning at Breast Cancer Care gave me the opportunity to use my skills to give something back which i thoroughly enjoyed, which is why I have now signed up to fcancer!
