About me

I am a creative and focused individual, with a keen passion for photography. I have also been and animator for approximately 5 years. Helping charities would be rewarding as it is a chance to impact communities in a positive way and make an impact on peoples lives.

May 2014 – Present – Serious Parody Ltd, Dundee, DD3 8SH

Animator - Keyframe animation of human characters in realistic combat scenarios using Maya. Gameplay animation and implementation using Unity.

June 2013 – September 2013 – Contract, Digital Design Studio, Glasgow, G51 1DZ

Animator - Worked on The battle of Bannockburn project. Responsibilities include Motion capture cleaning and splicing clips together using MotionBuilder and 3ds Max CAT system, keyframe animation at 60 fps and integration of animation with motion capture data Using CAT and MotionBuilder. Running cloth simulation on characters and processing animation and cloth simulation for both real time and slow motion states.

Sesame Street Kinect TV Season 1 & 2 (Xbox)– Animator on BAFTA nominated title – animation and rigging of various props and characters using Maya. Motion capture cleaning. Construction and use of state machines using Granny. Animation problem solving. Liaising with outsource company (Ruffian games) in regards to animation pipeline and construction of assets. Documentation of Animation pipeline which was used as training for interns.

Oct 2007 – Sept 2010 – Frontier developments. Cambridge UK, CB4 0WG

LostWinds (Wii)– Animation - Responsibilities included various in-game animations, rigging and skinning using Character Studio.

LostWinds Winter of the Melodias (Wii)– Animation- In-game animations, Problem Solving, transition animations, background NPC animations.

Outsider (Xbox\PS3)- Concept Art/Animation – Duties included Prop design, Environment Design, Character Design, liaising with various colleagues. Creating NPC animation.

Kinectimals (Xbox)– Concept Art - Concept and design of environments, Prop assets, storyboarding in game cut-scenes, problem solving.


April 2013 - Jun 2013 - Gnomon online – Combat animation – 10 week classes specializing in combat animation, ranging from gun shooting to close quarter combat.

June 2011 - Aug 2012 - Animation Mentor – This course helped to hone and increase my animation skills.
