About me
Having studied double honours in Graphic Design and Illustration, I have outstanding computer and manual design skills. I have worked in design for more than nine years focusing heavily on print and packaging, branding, typography, UI design layout, wire framing, advertisement design and production. I am experienced in using both Windows and Mac, and am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects and Premier Pro. I also have complete knowledge in both HTML5 and CSS3 designing bespoke websites as well as regular email marketing.
Currently I am the Senior Creative Artworker for a global fire detection organisation called Hochiki Europe. My role is to create B2B print and web design which consists of design literature for our customers. As well as this I produce training certificate design, catalogues, product magazines, animation, product information videos for the Hochiki YouTube channel, large-scale graphics, flash banners, half and full-page marketing adds, re-touching artwork for presentations, filming and photography.
In regards to my photography, I'm a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated photographer with a passion for fashion and a good eye for composition and detail. I enjoy the energy of the night life and would love to capture examples of this in night clubs.
I have to camera bodies consisting of the Canon EOS 1D slr and the canon 700d dslr. This allows me to capture images in all types of environments.
Working as a freelancer photographer has enabled me to develop not only my photography skills using different styles and techniques, and for different commercial or artistic purposes; it has also developed my ability to quickly absorb a brief, adapt to varying work conditions and personality types, work quickly and efficiently, and deliver high quality photographs within tight time frames.
I have taken photographs for everything from fashion shoots to weddings and studio portraits, for magazines, marketing material and personal use. I have solid technical skills using both digital and traditional SLRs, and am confident using a range of lighting techniques to produce different effects. I am adept with Photoshop as well as Aperture, and have experience uploading photographs into company databases and archives.
